New Church in Warren Ohio

Rock of Grace has opened a new campus in Warren Ohio. They actually launched this campus in January of 2022 a few blocks down from the square but have quickly outgrown the space that seated 100 people max. They purchased a Catholic Church just a few miles away on Dec 28th of 2023 and renovated it top to bottom and opened the first Sunday in March, 2024. The church features a fantastic space for kids to have fun, make memories, make new friends and most importantly learn about Jesus and God’s love for them. The church seats four times the amount as their previous building and has plenty of room in the Family Life Center where the kids ministry takes place upstairs with a fellowship hall downstairs. The church has a strong value on foster care with over 60 kids coming into care in just 3 years of casting the vision and creating F.A.M. [Family Advocacy Ministry] Each foster parent (10 couples as of today, March 30th) have a FAM team comprised of someone to bring them a meal once a month, someone to clean the house once a month, someone to provide respite babysiting once a month. This gives the parents the needed break to rejuvenate and keep their marriage strong which enables them to enjoy life and have the strength to keep caring for these vulnerable children. New Restaurant in Warren OH

Last week, I had an hour to kill before a meeting and I’ve been wanting to try this new place and it did NOT disappoint! Downtown 124 located right next to the Best Western on the square in Warren had GREAT food and GREAT coffee. The owner even chatted with me for quite a while before I realized he was the owner - very cool guy with a sincere desire to create an amazing restaurant in Warren. The food was delicious and priced well. The design is kinda moody / almost cigar-room but of course not as dark as one but definitely had that masculine, dark vibe and it was just very relaxing and comfortable. I heard the chef talking with the owner about the specials they were preparing for the evening and it was so cool to hear them talking about getting fresh inventory and making fresh food. Yall, eat at places like this, not the chains were 1/3 of the meals are microwaved! These are warren natives cooking up fresh meals daily! The Bang Bang Shrimp was so good! Great Coffee in Warren Ohio

So as a native of Warren Ohio for 18 years I’ve got a few suggestions for you on great restaurants and coffee in Warren Ohio. First let me say there’s a great coffee shop on the square in downtown Warren called NOVA. The design is exceptional. It’s comfortable. The staff is great and super helpful and of course the coffee is great. They are currently closed on Mondays so just know that up front but man it’s a great place to get great wifi and great cup of Joe in Warren.

Great Food in Warren Ohio

So I was going to a concert with my brother in law in Warren and we had a few hours to get dinner before it started. I am SO GLAD we tried West and Main on the square! WOW! Best wings E V E R! They were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and large and meaty and killer flavor! Everything you want in wings. My brother in law had a bbq sandwich and wow, also insanely good! (yes I had a bite. hey we’re family) so yeah if you’re wanting to try a new place to eat in Warren Ohio, give West & Main a shot!
